Elevated pateos (\u201ca\u00e7oteias\u201d) were also used in the region to dry fruits and seeds. Traditional a\u00e7oteias were kept, each house accommodating a private terrace with astonishing sea views over the trees, a perfect leisure spot to enjoy the sun and the silence. Each house also has a large front pateo with a shading pergola and outdoor table set. \nYou can grill meat, fish and vegetables on the small barbeque set, or simply enjoy reading outside, sunbathing, or a relaxing sunset drink.<\/p>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The former watering tank of the farm was reconstructed into a 9.5 m x 3m swimming pool. The pool is shallow, 1.5m depth, and it\u00b4s bordered by the traditional Santa Catarina tiles. The pool is unattended and shared with all guests of Quinta da Pintassilga.<\/p>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
